Performing on the final test in primary education and good preparation with cito training
The primary school cito final test can feel like a big task. Spend hours asking questions, keeping your concentration, and wanting to perform well on a test that may determine which secondary school you will go to in the future. How do you prepare properly for the final test? With cito training, we help you with this.
The primary school final.
I remember it well: it was the end of group 8. After weeks of practice, the day of the final test for primary education, then called the cito test, had arrived. The tables were separated, the pencils were sharpened, and for a few hours in a row, the class was in utter concentration. A lot depended on this test: for some, the cito score would determine whether they would go to their chosen secondary school. It was a moment where all our knowledge and skills should come together. But despite this pressure, I took the test relaxed. I knew what the questions would look like, what was expected of me, and what I had to offer. This was because of one thing: I had been practicing.
Good preparation is everything.
Actually, the real final test was nothing more than the practice citos we had made in class the days before. Because we had spent three days taking old final tests, everything felt familiar on the day of the real cito. I knew exactly which components would be covered, namely language, study skills, math and world orientation. I knew how much time I had for each part and how to organize that time properly. I knew how the questions would be formulated and how the response system worked. I had even thought about a snack that would give me long-term energy and concentration (tip: bananas and nuts). Without this knowledge and preparation, I would have been a lot less confident and would probably have scored less on the cito test. That is why I can well understand that many primary school students want to prepare well for the cito test. It is an exciting period and they want to score as well as possible. However, many students do not know how to approach this preparation. Our cito training is the solution for this!
