New clothes, celebrating your birthday and family vacations are not easy

Unfortunately, our society still has child poverty. I am glad that, with our participation in the Promising Child campaign, we are supporting the Children of the Food Bank Foundation, the Children's Party Foundation and De Vakantiebank.

Kansrijk Kind draws attention to children who grow up below the poverty line. The campaign is an initiative by CZ-N in collaboration with the Children of the Food Bank Foundation, Children's Party Foundation and the Holiday Bank Foundation. It not only strives to pay attention to these children, but also shows parents with financial concerns where they can go. After all, every child deserves a chance and things like new clothes, a fun birthday or going on vacation are not always obvious. By supporting the Children of the Food Bank Foundation, the Children's Party Foundation and the Holiday Bank Foundation, these children can also be promising and carefree. Children of the Food Bank Foundation.

The Children of the Food Bank Foundation is the only foundation in the Netherlands that offers clothing packages with new clothes, new shoes and a number of fun gifts. The fact that these items are new is a conscious choice. This is because children who grow up below the poverty line often wear used clothing. This can lead to teasing, bullying, and low self-esteem. By giving these children new clothes, these problems can be prevented. It is an investment in the future, because this boost will benefit a child throughout their life. In addition to clothing packages, the foundation offers birthday packages. Because whoever's birthday is handing out! And that is difficult for children who come from a family with few financial resources. Let alone organize a children's party... This is why these children often call in sick and let their birthdays go by. The birthday packages ensure that these children can also celebrate their birthday. This is because the package contains enough material to hand out at school and to celebrate a children's party with 10 children, including a nice gift for the birthday girl. The result: a wonderful initiative that relieves children of worries and makes them feel part of it.

Children's Party Foundation.

Children who live in poverty cannot organize a children's party. That is why the Children's Party Foundation offers these children a day to remember by hosting a party outside the home, so that both the child and the parents can have a carefree time. Important themes for the children's parties at the Children's Party Foundation include sports, culture, nature and technology. For example, the children get the opportunity to play games, crafts and play football together. Of course, a children's party is not complete without a cake and gift for the birthday girl. This is also arranged by the foundation, so that the party is complete and the children can enjoy their birthday when the center of attention is laughing!

De Vakantiebank.

Family vacations are also not a matter of course. Although it is an important factor, this does not just have to do with financial resources. This is because these family situations are often accompanied by living in stress, social isolation and/or illness. That is why it is not only about being able to go on vacation, but also about being able to go on vacation carefree. De Vakantiebank provides these carefree vacations by offering a vacation week at a beautiful and recreational location in the Netherlands. This gives the children new energy and a wonderful experience to share with their friends and girlfriends.
